About a week later Caitlin called me, laughing... It turns out that one of the guests I met at the party told Caitlin he thought I was a foreign exchange student.
???
Nothing against foreign exchange students... but... uh... that's kind of messed up.
Then I remembered this amazing sweater I wore as a joke on New Year's Eve. Only... everyone thought I was serious and several people told me they thought I was some Nordic dude doing my Nordic thing.

Fine. I talk funny. I'm confused about what to do with my hair. Sometimes I wear black jeans. I apparently give the thumbs-up in photos. I guess I'll just embrace my Anglo Saxon roots and start looking for a host family.
Any volunteers?
All my enmity free foreign love,

:) You can stay with me. But, as my host "child" you will be expected to take out the trash!
I just had a good laugh. Thank you.
this is absolutely classic. i really have never met anyone quite like you...i just never was smart enough to connect it to the fact that you are a foreigner.
Oh my gosh... that is seriously hilarious!
More blog posts please HR, they are pretty entertaining:)
I LOVE the sweater! I give it a big thumbs up! So awesome to have a Nordic nephew! :) :)
